Mira is a free Jellyfin client for Windows, Mac and iPhone. Jellyfin keeps your films and series on a computer of yours and serves them; Mira is the pleasant way to watch them. No Mira account, no ads, and nothing leaves your server.

What you need#
- A Jellyfin server, 10.9 or later, on a computer that stays on, and an account on it. No server yet? Mira for Windows installs Jellyfin and sets it up for you: see Set up Jellyfin.
- Your films and series in Jellyfin's folders, named the way it recognises them.
- To watch away from home: Tailscale, free. Mira has it built in, so most devices need nothing more. See Away from home.
The short version#

- Open the guide (F1) and click Set everything up on the Mira on your iPhone card.
- Install Mira on your other devices and sign in with the same account.
